Very Inspiring 2 minute video

Have you ever asked yourself;
Who am I?
What is my purpose?
Is there a Higher Power (God)?
What does that God think about me
and am I accepted?

The ONLY thing that really matters is what Jesus thinks about us and how we react to that.

The "Weed Control" We all Need

A farmer in Western Oregon, by the name of Willard Smucker, developed a valuable tool to control weeds in his grass seed fields. Wiping weeds and broadcast spraying have helped him and many other farmers successfully clean up weeds in fields.  When these weeds are gone it allows the crops to produce a high yield.

He realized, however, that a major "weed control" problem existed that his weed wiper could not solve. The "weeds" were on a personal level. Like everyone, Willard knew he had made mistakes, and committed sins that would ultimately separate him from the God that created him.  Eventually, if he didn't take care of the "weeds" they would overtake his life, and when he came to the end of his life, he would have nothing to show for it.

Fortunately,  Willard made the most important "weed control" choice of his life by taking action before it was too late. He asked Jesus (the Son of his Creator) to clean up the field of his heart, to forgive him of those sins, and to help him produce a high yielding life. As Willard's son I am thankful that he took action early because in 1984, at age 43, his life on earth ended. He is now reaping the harvest of that choice for eternity in heaven.

How do I know if there is a Higher Power (God) & what does He think about me?

Please look closely to this image.  This is not a beautiful woven tapestry. It is not a painting. It is the most detailed image of a human cell to date, obtained by radiography, nuclear magnetic resonance and cryoelectron microscopy. They estimate that we have 30 trillion and they all must work in harmony to carry out the basic functions for humans to survive.  If we are honest, it is pretty hard to argue that this just happened without "intelligent design", or that a "big bang" was able to create a brain, heart and 30 trillion of these and no two humans are alike.

So if you establish that there must be a God that created you and the uncountable amounts of stars in the universe, it is hard to imagine that He would know us, let alone have good thoughts about us.

So let's see what the bible says about that.  From the beginning of the Book, it establishes that our purpose is to know and love God, He is relational and that is why He made us.

Now let's read what he thinks about us:  Keep in mind that when King David wrote Psalms 139 he had no idea what a cell was or that it looked like this.

Please read these two scriptures and fill in the Yellow section with your name:

“God, You made all the delicate, inner parts of _____________ and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about _________O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! You are ALWAYS with me!”    Psalms 139: 13 -18

And if that wasn't already great news that His thoughts about us are precious and can't be counted...the best news is that His love and acceptance of us is unconditional. The Grace of Jesus is there for EVERYONE.  Please read John 3:16 that you may know by heart but this time read it with your name in the Yellow sections:

“This is how much God loves __________: He gave His one and only Son Jesus, so that everyone (including ___________) who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life!"

Real Joy, Peace and Freedom

If you are pursuing real Joy, Peace and Freedom there is an answer.  In all of our lives there will always be smarter, wealthier, better looking and more successful people than us.  However we believe that the people with the most joy peace and freedom are those that come to the realization that they are loved unconditionally.  They aren't the ones that have found "religion", but the ones that have a relationship with the one that created them and loves them unconditionally.  They are learning to love others in the same way as Jesus loves them.  Every other religion in history is based upon what you do, and how "good" of a life you live.  God recognized that none of us are able to live a perfect life...so being a Christian is simply believing by faith and it is all about what Jesus did for us!

How Do I Respond to God first loving me?

The Bible says that:

1.) If you believe that Jesus is God's Son

2.) Believe that he was raised from the dead

3.) If you admit your sin

4.) If you accept his gift of perfect relationship with him through grace

Then,

You Will Be Saved from the penalty of sin and have a high yield life. Pray this prayer, or one in your own words:

"Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God, that you died to pay my penalty and that you arose from the dead. I admit that I have sinned, and need you to clean up the weeds in my life. I want to accept you as my Savior and my friend. I choose a lifelong relationship with you as the Lord and Savior of my life.  Thank you for the gift of life that you given."

Congratulations, now that you have received the gift of Salvation your life will never be the same. I must tell you though that this doesn't mean you won't have any more stress or that life will be easy. In fact, your new, "walk with God" will most likely be harder.. I highly recommend you find a Bible believing church full of people, like you, who want to grow closer to God. Make no mistake though... the rewards of life with God will far outmatch any other accomplishment in your life... I guarantee it... better yet God guarantees it!

Below you will find more awesome and inspiring videos that I highly recommend you watch and share with others!

Here is what the Bible says in Galations 6:

"What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.

9-10 So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith."  Gal. 6:8-10

Please email me with any questions. Let me know if you agree that this is "The Most Important Thing."
